Lakhimpur Kheri: Six days after Lakhimpur Kheri violence in which eight people died including four farmers, accused Ashish Mishra son of BJP union minister appeared before local police to join the investigation on Saturday morning.
Ashish arrived alone and went straight to the Lakhimpur Kheri police lines to join the investigation. He was named in a FIR that charges him with grave offences, including murder and criminal conspiracy.
As per the incident, a Thar Mahindra SUV mowed down farmers killing and four others.
Mishra was booked for the violence but he had not been arrested by the UP police till now.
His father Ajay Mishra ‘Teni’, Minister of State for Home Affairs, maintains that his son is innocent and claims it’s a conspiracy
