UP: Kunda MLA Raja Bhaiya, aides booked on charges of assaulting Dalit SP booth agent

PRAYAGRAJ: An FIR was registered against the Jansatta Dal Loktantrik chief and Kunda MLA Raghuraj Pratap alias Raja Bhaiya, along with 15 unidentified persons in a case of assault during the polling.

The case has been registered on the complaint of a Samajwadi Party (SP) booth agent Kunda in Assembly constituency of Pratapgarh.

According to the information, the incident occurred at booth number 209 of Kunda assembly constituency where Samajwadi Party booth agent Rakesh Pasi was present. Rakesh, in his complaint to the police, has said that Tinku Singh, a booth agent of The Jansatta Dal, told someone over the phone that remove Rakesh Saroj from the booth or else there will be no bogus voting and later 15 others including Raja Bhaiya, Subhash Singh and Gopal Kesarwani came and assaulted him.
