Rehoboth Beach (USA): The small private plane accidentally entered the banned airspace near the residence of US President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden, who were holidaying at Rehoboth Beach in Delaware, after which the president and the first lady were immediately evacuated and taken to safer location today.
The White House and the Secret Service gave this information and said there was no threat to Biden and his family and the steps were taken as a precautionary measure.
The situation was reviewed and Biden and his wife then returned to their Rehoboth Beach residence. According to information received the aircraft had entered the restricted airspace by mistake.
The plane was driven out of the area. The agency said it would question the pilot and preliminary investigation revealed that she was not complying with the flight directions.
