Voting in Himachal Pradesh today: Congress urges people to vote for a better future

Chandigarh: Polling for all the 68 Assembly seats in Himachal Pradesh began at 8 am today in a single phase and 412 candidates in fray for today’s voting.

Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi and party general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra have appealed to the people of Himachal Pradesh to vote in large numbers and contribute towards shaping the future of the state.

“Himachal will vote for OPS (old pension scheme), Himachal will vote for employment, Himachal will vote for ‘Har Ghar Lachhmi’. Come, vote in large numbers and contribute significantly to the progress and prosperity of Himachal. ’

Priyanka Gandhi, who is in charge of the Congress campaign in the state, tweeted, “Dear Himachalites, all of you understand very well the situation in yourself and your state. Keeping in mind your circumstances, perform your duty of voting with full understanding and make changes. Make your significant contribution in weaving the future of Himachal. Jai Hind. Jai Himachal.”
