Amritsar: Waris Punjab De head Amritpal Singh has married Kirandeep Kaur, an NRI from England. The first place for Anand Karaj was fixed at the historic Gurudwara of the Sixth Patshahi Sri Hargobind Sahib Ji’s Charan Sparsh Dharti located in Fatehpur Donan, Jalandhar.
But at the last moment, the location of the wedding was changed. Kirandeep and her family, who came from England, left village Kulran at 4 am instead of leaving for Gurughar Fatehpur Dona towards Baba Bakala.
They got married at the Gurudwara of Jallupur Khera village near Baba Bakala.
Amritpal Singh’s wedding program is being kept completely secret. From the management of the Gurdwara to Amritpal’s family and close relatives, no one is telling anything. Even in Gurdwara, the wedding booking is not in his name, but in someone else’s name. Anand Karaj is being done in a very simple manner.
No special tents or other decoration arrangements have been made in the Gurudwara.
