New Delhi: In view of the declining cases of Covid-19, the Union Aviation Ministry has said that it is no longer mandatory to wear masks during air travel, but still passengers have been encouraged that they can wear masks for their safety.

It is worth mentioning that before the latest instructions issued by the Aviation Ministry today, it was mandatory to wear masks during air travel.

Issuing instructions to the country’s airlines, the ministry said passengers during air travel should be advised to wear masks but not to declare that not wearing masks will attract a fine or legal action.
