New Delhi: The World Health Organization (WHO) has asked the countries, in a latest COVID recommendation, to lift ban on travel or ease the norms due to present scenario of the infection across the world.
The WHO said that these travel bans would lead to catastrophic effect on the economy and increase social stress.
The WHO in a statement said that counties can take precautionary measures such as mandatory covid test for travellers to board flights but it is recommended to ease the restrictions.
Meanwhile, the WHO also recommended two new drugs for treating coronavirus this week.
