Washington: A few minutes after punching comedian Chris Rock for making a joke about his wife Jada Pinkett-Smith, Hollywood superstar Will Smith has ended his dry run at the Oscars as he clinched the best actor trophy for “King Richard”.
Smith stormed the Oscars stage this year after furious actor struck comedian Rock across the face for making a joke on his wife.
The clip has immediately gone viral on the social media and left stunned viewers questioning if it had been scripted or genuine.
However, actor later apologised for his actions.
