New Delhi: Former union minister and senior vice-president of TMC, Yashwant Sinha has predicted that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) would perform drastically in the western UP.
He said that BJP might win only 20 seats out of total 58 seats. The voting for the western UP to be held on February 20.
Meanwhile, rebel BJP MLA from Bairiya Surendra Singh, who is now contesting the UP assembly election as a Vikasheel Insaan Party ticket, was booked by ECI for allegedly violating the model code of conduct.
A case was registered against him and his 100 unidentified supporters at Haldi police station for violating the norms, officials said.
