Meerut: Hitting out at the previous government in Uttar Pradesh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said earlier criminals and the mafia used to play their games, but now the Yogi Adityanath government is playing “jail-jail” with them.
Addressing a public rally in Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut ahead of crucial elections, after laying the foundation stone of Major Dhyan Chand Sports University, Modi said earlier, only criminals and mafia could play their games in UP and tournaments of illegal land-grabbing used to take place.
“After the Rs 700-crore worth university comes up, it will provide international sports facilities to the youth and every year, over a thousand girls.
