400 Aam Aadmi Clinics to open in Punjab: Arvind Kejriwal, CM Mann to inaugurate in Amritsar

Chandigarh: 400 more Aam Aadmi Clinics to be opened in Punjab. Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema said that these clinics will be started on January 26. They will be inaugurated by AAP convener and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann in Amritsar on January 27. Special health facilities will be provided to the people from here.

At the same time, Health Minister Dr. Balbir Singh said that IT section has been included in mohalla clinics this time as compared to earlier. Laptops will be given to the entire staff including doctors. With this, complete data will be obtained in real time and analyzed. This will be a health revolution in Punjab.

A few days ago, the Punjab CM had given appointment letters to specialist doctors, who will be on duty in secondary care. Similarly, super specialist doctors will be on duty in tertiary care, medical college. This whole concept is based on Delhi’s tested model.

Dr. Balbir Singh said that the state government has provided employment to more than 26 thousand people. Also, more than 6 thousand contractual employees are being regularised .

There are more than 20,000 doctors of government and private nursing homes in Punjab. There are also more than one lakh para-medics force. All of them will now keep first aid kits in their vehicles. With this, in case of any accident anywhere, the injured will be given first aid.
