New Delhi: The investigation in the Sidhu Moosewala murder case has revealed that one AK-47, a 30 bore pistol and four or five pistols of 9 mm have been used for the murder of the singer-songwriter.
However, Punjab and Delhi police have not been able to recover the weapons even after 45 days of the murder. According to police sources, forensic examination of cartridges has revealed that pistols have been used on AK-47s.
Several other bullets were stuck in the walls of nearby houses and some were found in the fields. Investigation has also revealed that the shooters handed over the weapons to a man in Haryana and later fled to different places.
Pertinently, the Delhi Police has already arrested Priyavrat Fauji, Kashish, Ankit and Sachin Bhiwani in this case. The police had also recovered eight grenades, nine electric detonators, an assault rifle and 20 cartridges along with the grenade launcher in the case.
