Apple CEO Tim Cook opens India’s first Apple store in Mumbai

New Delhi: Apple’s first store in the country has opened in Mumbai today. Apple’s first official store has opened in Mumbai’s Jio World Drive Mall. Apple CEO Tim Cook arrived in India yesterday for this and today he made a grand opening of Apple’s flagship store in India.

Hundreds of fans were present at the opening of Mumbai’s first Apple store and this store is spread over 20,000 square feet. From 11 o’clock today, people were already waiting to shop from here. A team of 100 members is reported to be working in this store opened today in Mumbai. These Apple Store executives are capable of providing customer service in 20 languages.

On Monday, Apple CEO Tim Cook arrived in India and met Asia’s richest man Mukesh Ambani at his residence Antilia in Mumbai.

Apart from this, before the official launch of Apple Store, he met the country’s well-known celebrities at a private event yesterday, from former cricketer Anil Kumble to celebrities from the country’s entertainment industry like Madhuri Dixit and Armaan Malik, Raveena Tandon, Neha Dhupia and others met him.
