New Delhi: Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) Chairman Prasoon Joshi has directed the makers of Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer ‘Pathaan’ to make changes including the film and its lyrics.

Joshi said in a statement that the board has asked Yash Raj Films to make changes in the film as per the guidelines.

‘Pathaan’ has been in controversy since the release of his song ‘Besharam Rang’ on December 12 and there was a demand for a ban on it.

The song shows Deepika in a saffron bikini. It has been claimed that it hurt Hindu sentiments and led to protests across India.
