Chhattisgarh Schools report a loss in learning amid Covid-19 lockdown, new Govt report reveals

New Delhi: Educational recovery is happening rapidly after Corona in Chhattisgarh. The school education department claimed that the situation in Chhattisgarh is better in the country.

It also released the report and said that despite the lockdown, the figure of learning mathematics skills in Chhattisgarh has been 10.6 percent. At the national level, this increase is only 1.8 percent. For this, the Minister has released the Annual Status of Education Report (ASER) -2022 on behalf of the School Education Department.

The School Education Department of the Chhattisgarh government has claimed that due to Corona, there was a lot of loss in the learning level of children in many states. Chhattisgarh has started coming back to the pre-Corona situation in 2022 as compared to 2021.

School Education Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam has released the Annual Status of Education Report on Saturday.

He said that 64, 131 children in the age group of 3 to 16 years were surveyed by reaching 33, 330 households of 1679 villages in 28 districts of Chhattisgarh. Information about the enrollment of children in pre-primary school and school in rural areas was collected. Children aged 5-16 were screened to understand reading, math and English skills.
