Corona rising again in Delhi, infection rate is around 26 percent; 980 new cases registered

New Delhi: Corona cases are continuously increasing in Delhi. In the last 24 hours on Tuesday, a total of 980 cases of corona have been reported. The positivity rate in the capital has now reached 25.98 per cent.

This means that one out of every four people who get tested for corona is infected with it. This latest data of Corona has been released by the Health Department of the Delhi Government.

According to the data, two people have also died from Corona in the last 24 hours. However, it has not yet been confirmed whether corona is the main cause of death of both of them.

Significantly, amid the increasing cases of Corona, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has issued a new advisory for its employees.

Under this, 5 people have been forbidden from gathering together in the AIIMS campus. It has been advised not to crowd the canteen. Surgical masks have been asked to be installed at the workplace.

Also, the number of visitors coming from outside inside the office in AIIMS has been asked to be reduced. Significantly, Covid infection is spreading very fast in Delhi. Hundreds of new cases of infection are coming daily.

Delhi recorded 484 new COVID-19 cases on Monday and the positivity rate was recorded at 26.58 per cent, which means one in every four people tested positive.

According to data shared by the Delhi government’s health department, three more people infected with the coronavirus died in the national capital. However, the health bulletin said Covid-19 was not the main cause of these deaths.
