Ottawa: Five cities in Canada have been ranked as the best among the cities around the world, According to the rankings released this week for 2023.
The list of best cities, limited to those with populations of more than a million and include Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, Vancouver and Ottawa among the top 100 cities across the world, according to the World’s Best Cities report by Resonance Consultancy, a BC marketing consultancy.
Those releasing the list said that this ranking is done largely keeping in mind several factors. Factors such as providing employment, investment and tourism etc. are mainly responsible for this.
Diversity, education and the large number of head offices of large companies in these cities is also a big reason why Toronto has been described as canada’s best city and the 24th best city in the world. Montreal, Canada’s second-largest city, has been ranked 56th, with technical expertise in income equality, culture and Mcgill university as well as technical expertise.
Calgary is ranked 65th. This is due to the young population, access to education, equality in income and the best standards of living. Metro Vancouver is ranked 69th on the list. Vancouver was able to make its place among the 100 beautiful cities due to income equality, excellent university, safety and natural scenery.
Ottawa, canada’s capital, has been ranked among the best cities due to low cost of education, living and availability of employment.
London managed to get the first place in this list. The top 10 cities in the world are Paris, New York, Tokyo, Dubai, Barcelona, Rome, Madrid, Singapore and Amsterdam.
