Sydney: A gate was named after legendary Indian batsman Sachin Tendulkar at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) today to mark his 50th birth anniversary.
Tendulkar turns 50 today. He scored 785 runs in five Tests at the SCG at an average of 157. His highest score here was 241 not out. Tendulkar termed the SCG as his favourite cricket ground outside India.
