Moga: A youth was killed on the spot and another was seriously injured in the firing at Dharamkot bus stand in this district sub-division late last night and has been admitted to the civil hospital.
A case has been registered against Shavinder Singh alias Shiva, his son Rupinder Singh alias Arshdeep Kaka, Kulbir Singh, Shubham and Sunny besides six unidentified persons under sections 302/307/427/148/149, 25,54, 59 of the Arms Act on the statement of arshdeep Singh, a resident of Dharamkot.
The initial investigation has an old conspiracy of money transactions. According to the police, the accused opened fire at a shop selling pets and birds at bus stand Dharamkot ay deceased youth Harpreet Singh, a resident of Dharamkot, while Arshdeep Singh of Dharamkot sustained serious injuries.
